SERIES CR1000 LED Self-Contained Marine Light Battery and Solar powered with automatic daylight turn off to conserve power 1-2 mile visibility range light for oil booms, docks, marinas, small buoys or floatation devices such as fishing nets and in Red, Green, White or Yellow Our Series CR1000 one to two mile LED Self-Contained Light extends the usefulness of our patented side emitting lens, in which we utilized the full advantage of computer modeling techniques in its design. It is truly a leap forward in this industry by taking advantage of LEDs that are measured in watts rather than milliwatts to create a side emitting lens that offers very uniform horizontal and vertical light projection characteristics using only a single LED. This is accomplished using sophisticated optical techniques and without the use of mirrors or diffusers. Not only do you get advanced optical technology in this small package, but you also get a large capacity battery and solar panel in this economical marine light. 1 mile up to 30% flash rhythm duty cycle (flash length divided by total flash length) 2 mile up to 12% flash rhythm duty cycle Solar panel efficiency - 16% Battery: Replacable, 6V 1.1 Amp Hour AGM lead acid offers the widest temperature operating range of battery types for this application. 5 year average life expectancy. LED average life expectancy greater than 100,000 hours Weight: 1.4 lbs (.635 Kg) Oil boom lights for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill are required to display yellow one mile minimum visibility at 50-70 flashes per minute. Our light is Coast Guard approved for Class C (1 mile) visibility. Mounting Flange: Two and three hole mounting patterns on 4 9/16” (11.59 cm) bolt circle. Marine grade aluminum mounting plate with black hard coat anodized finish which will not crack from over tightening like plastic bases would. Self powered with battery and recharging solar panel. A simple flash rhythm can be factory preset to any of various standard rhythms or special rhythm with flash and eclipse lengths up to 10 seconds each. Power turn on and off is done by simply tightening or loosening a screw on the bottom of the lantern. No external devices are required to operate this marine light.
