LED Range Light Conversion Kit
(QuadLED)

Our QuadLED Range Light Conversion Kit was developed for the U.S. Coast Guard for use in their 14" Range Light RL-14, and their smaller FA-240 Range Lights to replace the incandescent lamp systems. This eliminates their previous need to change light bulbs.

The challenge in developing an LED retro-fit for these lanterns was in devising an LED system that could replace the point source of light required by a parabolic mirror that a lamp filament provides. After much experimentation and computer modeling, we offer a completely different solution.

The QuadLED Range Light Conversion Kit projects the light outwards through the spreader lens of the Range Lights and eliminates the previous need for the parabolic mirror, the Lampchanger and the Flasher.

The QuadLED includes four 100,000 hour high power LED's, lenses, electronics and separate mounting kits for each type of Range Light. It is a universal device that fits both Range Lights simply by using the different hardware mounting kits included for each of the Range Lights.
